Stimulus update: Direct payment from Alaska fund worth $1,312 to be sent to some in 10 days

People in Alaska who are qualified to receive money from the Permanent Fund Dividend for the year 2023 but haven't gotten it yet will get their payment from the state Department of Revenue in 10 days. Alaskans who are supposed to get money once a year will receive their next payment in less than two weeks. This batch of payments is the fifth set of checks for 2023 sent by the PFD to eligible residents since October. If you have the "Eligible-Not Paid" status on January 10 and still haven't received your yearly payment from the state program, you'll get it on January 18. This includes payments for the year 2023 or any earlier ones that you haven't received from the Alaska Department of Revenue. To be part of the program, you must plan to live in Alaska for a long time and not have been convicted of a serious crime, among other things.
